Service providers and case managers are key to the success of permanent housing programs and strategies. Youth-specific trainings
prepare service providers to work more effectively with youth by using a youth-focused and individualized approach. Each program
will have to implement specific trainings for their service providers. However, we have identified key trainings and strategies that all

Resource:
The Training Resource Guide for Runaway and Homeless Youth Program Staff helps programs identify
available trainings for service providers. All trainings offered in this guide are free. However, some of them may
require that the training participant set up accounts before accessing them. Most trainings are youth specific.
